Lungile Fakude (25) of Mshadza was crowned Miss Mpumalanga 2022 on Saturday evening, April 9, at Communio Church in Mbombela, during a spectacular show put together by Mzimari Productions.

She takes the baton over from Miss Mpumalanga 2021, Dr Claude Mashego.

Fakude holds a honours degree in occupational health.

The new queen walked away with a brand-new car, a bursary to study any course of her choice, gadgets and other items.

The Miss Mpumalanga 2022 first runner-up is Buhle Mokwena and the second runner-up is Zoliswa Mlombo.

The ladies looked stunning in their beautiful dresses by NQ Exclusive Boutique.
