Community policing forum in Ermelo and surrounding towns get PPEs

The MEC said that police stations should give members of the community policing forum their full support.

The Department of Community safety, Security and Liaison (DCSSL) visited the community of Ermelo to donate personal protective equipment (PPE) to CPF members today June 3.

The MEC for community safety, security and liaison, Vusi Shongwe, said that CPF should be supported in many ways and needs to be revived in many communities.

“We thought we should provide them with the PPEs because it is winter and our members need to feel warm while out in the streets.”
The joyous event was attended by CPF members, police station commanders and members from Ermelo and surrounding towns.
