Police in Bushbuckridge are appealing to members of the public for assistance in locating 13-year-old Rodney Junior Mathobela and reuniting him with his family.

Mathobela was last seen on February 14 at his home in Boikhutso, Bushbuckridge.

His mother and a neighbour conducted a search in the surrounding areas and made enquiries within the community, but their efforts to locate him were unsuccessful.

SAPS urges anyone who may have information that could assist in locating Rodney to contact Lt Col Cindy Mkhabela on 082 469 1298 or call Crime Stop on 08600 10111. Alternatively, the MySAPS app can be used. All information received will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
