KaBokweni artist dreams of healing broken souls through his music

Tswarelo Dibakwane is an multi-faceted artist and set to make it big in the local music industry.

Tswarelo Dibakwane, musically known as Dreamboy Da Vocalist, is one to be reckoned with in KaBokweni’s music industry. He calls himself an all-rounder, while touching lives, healing broken hearts and educating people through his music. He is not confined to a music genre but he does amapiano, Afro-pop, R&B and house music.

The singer and songwriter started his professional career in music in 2013, but only managed to release his music from 2021.

His debut single titled “Vuka” is an Afro-pop song about the violence against women and children. “It is a song to cry out for help to stop the abusing and killing of women and children. People loved the song and it got airplay on Thobela FM,” Dibakwane said.

He released another Afro-pop song “Sofela Khona” early this year in which he featured Buhle M the DJ, Rambo S and Noiana. “This love song put me on the map. It even got third place for best trending song in the 2022 Mpumalanga Annual Music Awards. The nomination alone was a great achievement and motivated me to do even better,” he said.

His music has allowed him to travel to neighbouring countries such as eSwatini and Botswana to share it. Moreover, getting airplay on various radio stations allowed him to share his music to a national audience.
