Search now on for new Miss Mpumalanga

The search for the next provincial beauty queen has just started.
The organisers of the annual Crowning Miss Mpumalanga have announced that the auditions for the 2023 beauty queen are now open and will officially close on November 30.
Explaining this year’s criteria, Mzimari Productions’ boss, Gugu Nyeranda, said in order to help meet potential participants halfway and to ease the burden of having to travel long distances just for auditions, they have introduced and easier and convenient way of auditioning.
“We decided to do the first round of auditions in the form of a short video. Participants or models wishing to participate are encouraged to send us a one-minute introductory video to 068 003 5844. Once we have received the videos, we will send the participants the entry forms.

They will be required to fill them in and attach all the necessary documents as stated on the form. We are going this route because we understand that there are many young girls, especially those in the rural areas, who want to participate but aren’t able to because of financial constraints. This method of sending a video is more convenient to them because they get to do this in the comfort of their homes,” said Nyarenda.
The current queen, Lungile Fakude, has been on a campaign trail for the virtual auditions.
Her reign comes to an end in April when a new queen is crowned.
This annual event has turned girls into outstanding women over the years.
