She has adopted the Uthando Children’s Home in Mshadza, to help these kids receive nutritious food and other basic needs.

“The Covid-19 pandemic has left many families in Hazyview distraught and lacking basic needs. Some families cannot even afford healthy food for their children. I witness it a lot in the hospital when they are brought in sick, only to find that they suffer from malnutrition,” Mogane said.

She is embarking on a journey as a Mrs Mpumalanga 2023 finalist to educate parents and guardians about nutrition in aim to raise healthy kids.

“I want to make a change in the lives of children. Through the Mrs Mpumalanga platform, I want to offer knowledge to parents on how to prepare meals for their kids. It starts with the parents, because children consume what their parents consume. I believe being Mrs Mpumalanga is about being a mother that has the best interests at heart for the development of healthy future leaders in her home province,” she said.
