MEC for agriculture visits Mkhondo One-Stop Centre for farming equipment

The Mpumalanga Department of Agriculture recently launched a state-of-the-art one-stop centre, which specialises on a variety of farming equipment. They decided to pay the establishment a visit.

The MEC for agriculture, rural development, land and environmental affairs, Busisiwe Shiba, visited the almost completed Mkhondo One-Stop Centre on Wednesday January 31 as part of her oversight to monitor progress and to discuss the completion period and challenges.

According to the department, the state-of-the-art Mkhondo One-Stop Centre is at its final stages and is anticipated to be completed by the end of March. The centre will have a diesel depot, fertilisers, vets, farming equipment and many other things.

Several Mkhondo Local Municipality stakeholders applauded Shiba’s attendance.

The MEC said that the construction’s progress is commendable, and all stakeholders were appreciated for their commitment in ensuring its completion.
