YouTube podcast aims to unite creatives in Mpumalanga

Let's Talk All Things About Art, produced by a local woman, is a platform that features interactions with creative and diverse individuals.

Sandra Malumane, affectionately known as Mam Sandra, is a visionary creative producer and director dedicated to nurturing local talent and fostering creativity on her new podcast, Let’s Talk All Things About Art.

“This innovative talk show serves as a platform to delve into the fascinating world of the creative industry, featuring engaging discussions with notable guests and shedding light on diverse artistic endeavours. Part of embracing our mantra of building an art legacy, the aim is to celebrate local talents while providing invaluable insights and knowledge about the creative landscape,” Malumane said.

The show is part of the Our Art Legacy channel on YouTube.

She said in addition to thought-provoking discussions and interactive segments with guests, the show also promotes artists to gain exposure and connect with potential collaborators. “The team behind this groundbreaking initiative includes talented individuals such as Wayne Sibongiseni Nkosi, Cyrus Dlamini, Mkhuleko Nkosi, Remember Nkosi and Nicolene Masuku, each contributing their unique expertise to make the show a resounding success. Together, we are building our art legacy one inspiring story at a time.”

Malumane, who grew up near Hazyview, has always felt the need to flourish in the creative space.

“I discovered my passion in arts back in 1992. This early exposure not only ignited my love for the creative industry, but also steered me away from distractions, solidifying my belief in the transformative power of creativity for youth. I have honed my skills by collaborating with various prominent productions and constantly seeking opportunities to enhance my craft,” she said.

She said the digital platform has so far proved to be an exciting journey to celebrate creativity in all its forms.
