A murder case is being investigated and the suspect is set to appear in court at a date yet to be confirmed.

A 35-year-old man was arrested yesterday, November 14, in connection with the shooting of a 32-year-old female police constable and a 35-year-old man who succumbed to his injuries.

He said the police and emergency medical personnel found the two victims lying next to a vehicle, with serious gunshot wounds.

The motive for this incident remains unknown at this stage and will form part of the probe, however, domestic violence cannot be ruled out,” said Mdhluli.
