Penreach mourns the death of CEO, Andile Ncontsa

Andile Ncontsa was appointed as the CEO of Penreach in 2014.

Penreach has announced the sudden and untimely passing of its CEO, Andile Ncontsa.

The non-profit organisation, aimed at providing quality access to education, released a press statement on November 21 announcing his death.

Ncontsa has been the chief executive officer of the organisation since August 2014.

“His visionary leadership and commitment to education have been the cornerstone of Penreach’s mission to transform lives through quality education. His passion for empowering communities and his dedication to creating opportunities for children and educators have left an indelible mark on the education landscape in South Africa,” said in the statement.

It also said that during his time at Penreach, Ncontsa spearheaded numerous groundbreaking initiatives, significantly expanding the organisation’s impact across South Africa.

“His enduring legacy will continue to inspire us to pursue the work he so passionately championed. As we mourn this tremendous loss, we extend our deepest condolences to the Ncontsa family, friends and the entire education community.Through this difficult time, we will stand together and support one another. We will navigate this loss as a united community, remaining steadfast in our commitment to honour his legacy and continue building a brighter future through education. We will not stop. Not now. Not ever.”
