Family of Sabethe Sylivor Baloyi urgently sought

He was born in KwaMdladla in Tonga, Nkomazi

The Department of Corretional Services (DCS) has requested the public to assist in tracing the family of Sabethe Sylivor Baloyi.

The 73-year-old man died at the Volkrust Correctional Centre where he was an inmate, on Tuesday, November 26.
Baloyi was serving a 12-year sentence and the department has explored all avenues to trace his next of kin or family members.

“He is a former builder who came to Ermelo through his work of building houses without any success,” said Opheliah Motloutsi, the spokesperson for DCS in the Barberton management area that covers Volkrust.
She said before his conviction and detention, Baloyi was renting a room Ermelo Ext 34.

“He also mentioned that he had a site at Mandela location in KwaMdladla,” said Motloutsi.
