LISTEN: Showers, cold conditions and disruptive rain predicted for Mpumalanga

Brace yourself and get out those blankets as cold and rainy weather are predicted.

A cut-off low system is expected to make landfall over the western interior of South Africa on Wednesday, April 23.

According to the SAWS, the front is expected to move slowly eastwards and is likely to exit the country by Saturday, April 26.

Scattered to widespread showers and thundershowers are expected over the central and eastern parts of the country, with rainfall accumulations exceeding 50mm in the eastern regions on Wednesday and Thursday, April 24 and 25.
