Mr Mpumalanga crowned at Mbombela Civic Centre

Theophilus Ndlovu and Solly Malambe were the 2025 runners-up.

The new Mr Mpumalanga was crowned on Saturday, May 24, at the Mbombela Civic Centre. Sandile Gama (23) from KaNyamazane took the title. Gama currently works in the wholesale and retail industry while also studying towards his diploma in retail store management.

He is an aspiring entrepreneur, model and future fitness instructor. Gama is passionate about fitness and physical activity, with a strong belief in hard work and staying true to himself. Gama is all about giving his best in everything he does. He proudly embraces what makes him different, standing out with confidence, dedication and a unique flair.

He succeeds last year’s title holder, Sibusiso Shishaba. During an interview with the newspaper, he expressed his joy and excitement at winning the crown.

“I feel overwhelmed. I am excited about the journey and much honoured to be crowned as the new Mr Mpumalanga,” said Gama.

He was shocked to hear his name announced as the winner. “I was not expecting to win, it came as a complete surprise.” Theophilus Ndlovu was the first runner-up, while Solly Nyambe was second runner-up.
