Ehlanzeni District Municipality hosts successful networking event

EDM executive mayor Terra Shabangu acknowledged the media and the important role they play in the community.

The Ehlanzeni District Municipality (EDM) hosted an informative and educational annual media networking session at the EDM Disaster Management Centre on Friday, November 21.

The event consisted of two sessions; one in the morning and another in the evening.

This annual event invites speakers to do presentations on various topics. It also gives the media and the communication sector an opportunity to speak about the challenges they face daily and the future of media.

During the event, EDM executive mayor Cllr Terra Shabangu emphasised that the media plays a significant role in society, and stated the municipality wanted to acknowledge and recognise their hard work.
