Flood victims from Msholozi in Mpumalanga receive donations

These beneficiaries were affected by the recent floods, leading to the launch of a support initiative to help them through these challenging times.

During the recent devastating floods, many community members lost loved ones or belongings. To support the affected families, Fastway Couriers and People Of South Africa PBO donated food parcels at Word of Life Bible Church on Friday, January 30.

The 20 beneficiaries received buckets filled with baked beans, rice, instant porridge, soup, sugar, teabags, soya, stock cubes, and bread. Children’s clothing and 10 pairs of school shoes were also donated to the families.

Siboniso Zondi of Fastway said the company was glad to be able to help. “The bad news that we are constantly bombarded with must be countered with good news. I contacted various people to acquire the donations,” he explained.
