TS Galaxy Queens earn their crowns at league awards
Two players of the rockets shone brighter at the Hollywoodbets Super League Awards.
TS Galaxy Queens FC’s Leandra Smeda and Dineo Magagula bagged some of the best accolades at the 2025 Hollywoodbets Super League Awards, held in Johannesburg on February 1.
Smeda claimed player of the season and top goal scorer. Her 22 goals helped the Queens finish in third place with 69 points at the end of the season.
Magagula bagged the goalkeeper of the season award with 19 clean sheets in a total of 29 matches.
The Queens congratulated these athletes for their outstanding performance.
The club’s coach, Lucky Sibiya, was nominated for the coach of the season award, while player Precious Seshweni received a nomination for defender of the season.

The awards ceremony highlighted the league’s contribution to the beautiful game, particularly its role in developing players advancing to the national level and strengthening women’s football in South Africa.
The 2026/27 Hollywoodbets Super League is set to begin in March.
