 Mpumalanga prophet embraces calling

Years of faith and perseverance have led Prophet Gugu Gwebu to her ordination, marking a new chapter in her ministry and service to God.

What began as a journey of faith, prayer and perseverance led Prophet Gugu Gwebu to one of the most significant moments of her spiritual life when she was officially ordained as a prophet. She describes the milestone as the fulfilment of God’s calling on her life.

The ordination not only marks a new chapter in her ministry, but also brings a greater responsibility to serve God’s people with humility and compassion. Gugu said the experience was both humbling and deeply meaningful.
“I felt honoured and overwhelmed with gratitude. It reminded me that God is faithful to those who believe in Him,” she said.

She is married to Pastor Michael Gwebu, and together they founded the House of Goshen International Ministries, located in Tekwane South.

Her journey in ministry has been shaped by years of prayer, sacrifice and spiritual growth. Gugu emphasised that she did not seek the role herself, but instead responded to what she believed was God’s calling on her life.
“I believe that through every season of sacrifice, challenge and spiritual growth, God has been preparing me for this moment,” she said.
