NOTICE PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PROCESS
The City of Mbombela is proposing the construction of a bridge in Sawotini within Msogwaba, City of Mbombela. The proposed construction of the Sawotini bridge also includes the construction of two roads that are currently just a path/track used by pedestrians.
The proposed road construction is situated in Msogwaba, approximately 6.92km north of Kanyamazane. The proposed road starts at an intersection with Chris Hani Street and is divided into two sections (Road 1 and 2). The Sawotini bridge to be constructed is located on portion 0 of the farm Nyamasaan 647-JU at coordinates: 2524`44.16″S 3110`27.86″E
Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 41 of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations, 2014, as amended, read with the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act 107 of 1998) (NEMA), of the proposed application for Environmental Authorisation for the proposed development.
