Lighting the way

For the better part of 25 years The Light House has been a shining beacon for the youth of the Lowveld. Although there will be no more rocking the roof off on Friday nights, the rays are as bright as ever. Benno Stander chats to its founder, Bo Nilsson.

He is the youngest of four children and has three sisters. When he was 16 they were all studying in Joburg and on weekends when they came home, they told awesome stories of the youth assemblies they attended. This impressed Bo tremendously and painted a wonderful picture in his mind.

According to them, it was fun and games all the way with powerful messages that shed some light on the challenges of life.

So when Bo heard that one of the churches in his hometown Groblersdal was starting a youth group, he was very excited and could hardly wait.
