Tired of just living?

If you will live and accomplish amazing things, it will be because you have become tired of just being alive. Remember the purpose of life is a life of purpose.

It is easier to make money but harder to make a difference. God gives affluence so we may have influence.

• Love, celebrate and value yourself. This means you will self-lead, self-analyse, self-challenge and self-develop. Some people hate themselves so much they fail to appreciate the good in themselves. To avoid wasting your life, avoid paralysis through analysis. Know your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and the potential threats in your life. Where there is no diagnosis there is no prognosis. Always do introspection.

• Never blame anybody for your setbacks and calamities. God has given all men the power of choice. In spite of all that happens to me, I have power to rise above any negativity if I choose to do so. The quickest way to get yourself to an early grave, is being a professor in the department of “blameology” and blame-shifting.

The fact that you are not learned doesn’t mean you are useless. The last time I checked Bill Gates had standard eight. People who blame others for their condition, shift responsibilities from themselves to others. Nobody owes me anything. You are the captain of your own ship, pilot of your own flight and master of your own course.

• Self-condemnation. What is done is done; you cannot undo it. Mistakes happen to learn from them. Why is it you have forgiven many but you are unable to forgive yourself? Self-condemnation breeds a poor and low self-image and saps you of confidence.

• Don’t be self-seeking. God didn’t create you for yourself; He created you for the world.
Rewards await those who supplied to the needs of others; those who stooped low to pick up the downtrodden and burden-sunk. The secret of life is not about the duration of it, but about the donation to it. A champion conquers for himself; a hero for a nation.
