Modise happy with new Sundowns players
Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Teko Modise is excited about the season ahead given the quality transfers that have been made by his club.

The Brazilians have signed the likes of Asavela Mbekile (from Moroka Swallows), Bonginkosi Ntuli, Siyanda Zwane (both from Golden Arrows), Luyolo Nomandela (from Free State Stars), Lindokuhle Mbatha (from Platinum Stars), Mario Booysen and Rheece Evans (both from Maritzburg United) while the likes of Themba Zwane have returned from loan spells.
Modise has spoken out about the quality of the new signings, following Sundowns’ loss to SuperSport United on penalties in the final of the Gauteng Cup on the weekend.
“The squad is looking great and confident. New players like Luyolo Nomandela, Bongani Ntuli, Mario Booysen, Siyanda Zwane and others are stepping up,” Modise told his official website.
“They are showing good signs considering the fact that they are in a new environment. They are settling well and quick.
“I think our approach will be different as we will be the team to beat. New players will bring a different dimension to the game. We shall definitely be a surprise package.”
