Viewers slam Mfundi Vundla for Generations’ story line

Viewers were not shy to call a spade what it is after the first episode of the sopie.

What was supposed to be a historic moment in the entertainment industry was outweighed by a harsh reaction from the public after the first episode of Generations-The legacy was aired last night.

Disappointed viewers took to social media even before the first break was aired, hammering the producer,Mfundi Vundla for a poor story line.

Others publicly made fun of Vundla saying he sent an apology claiming that SABC played the wrong tape.

Alice Minele said that Vundla needs to realise that Generations will never be the same without the old actors.

“We were familiar with the old faces and we built some kind of relations with them. So putting it simply,it’s horrible,” she added.

But others are confident that the viewers will get used to the new soapie.

Tshepiso Mothupi: It’s still early days .We can’t judge based on the previous Generations that we knew.

Nhlanhla Mgomezulu: We will get used to it and eventually enjoy the soapie. It is too early to judge.

Nkuli Dumezulu: Personally I love the new Generations. It’s more African that the previous one.
