It’s fun galore this weekend for party animals, especially in Nkomazi.
The much-anticipated African Youth Unite Against Xenophobia Music Festival is here, and it’s so huge, one doesn’t want to miss out.
Organised by River Events Management, the festival will be hosted at Driekoppies Dam and caters to three different countries.
Mpumalanga News spoke to Joe Shirimani, and we could hear the excitement emanating from his voice.
“The people should come out in numbers, the energy will be amazing.
Hhekele hheke will be performed live, along with other songs from my previous albums.
I take Mpumalanga people very seriously, and their love for me has been amazing thus far, we are gearing ourselves for one of the best performances to ever hit the province.”
Shirimani also confirmed that he had a surprise for the audience on the day.
“I have a song, specifically for Mpumalanga people, it’s called ‘Hha Rocka’, it will most definitely blow their minds. This is one festival not to be missed,” he added.
“Tickets are now on sale at Computicket for R120,
R500 for VIPs, and VVIP costs R1 000.
The festivities kick-off at 14:00 all the way through to the following day. We also have acts such as Sifiso Ncwane, Big Nuz, Mr Bow, Zico, and many more.
We are excited about this, people should come and be part of this great history in making,” said Elphus Mathebula of River Events Management.
