Karabo Mogane sings his way to Idols Top 10

Karabo Mogane says he has his eyes set on the title and needs all the votes he can get.

MBOMBELA – Mpumalanga is proving every year that it has what it takes when it comes to music on a national level.

Karabo Mogane has made it to the top 10 of Idols SA. The 23-year-old says he has his eyes set on the title and needs all the votes he can get.

“It was all a dream, a dream that is now just a couple of steps away from being real. I’m thankful to South Africans, particularly Mpumalanga people for voting for me.

If it had not been for them, I probably would not have made it this far.

This is, however, the toughest stage of the competition, votes are essential, thus I ask that people continue to vote for me. I will not let them down,” says Mogane.

Karabo’s background in music is solid, he hails from a local gospel group, the Mogane Family, which has nurtured his talent to what South Africa sees today.

“My family has helped me a great deal in my musical path, and I will forever be grateful.

This Idols SA journey brings about a new breeze altogether. I am so happy to have made it into the top 10.

The opportunity to work with other talented musicians is not one you bump into every day. I’m looking forward to all the developments, and I trust that Mpumalanga and South Africa will help me bag this title.”

According to Karabo’s brother, a huge campaign to get Mpumalanga and the government to vote for him is on its way.

“We want to get everyone to rally behind the boy, he is on a journey to represent the whole province.

We are also urging sponsors to come through and support the course.

We need banners, T-shirts, placards, and all the votes we can get. He has made it to the top 10, and we will support him in owning this year’s title,” says Lehlohonolo Mogane.

His next performance will be this Sunday.

Be sure to tune in and vote as many times as you can. To vote for Karabo, SMS 04 to 37400, or dial *120*33033#.
