Take the family out on a picnic
The fifth annual Nabalabantfu Picnic will be hosted at Elangeni Lodge on December 17.

MBOMBELA – The picnic will start at 12:00 and continue till late. Patrons will have the opportunity to relax on the grass with their picnic baskets and cooler boxes, while they braai and enjoy good company.
There will be great music, and a swimming pool. The greatest part about this event is the fact that it provides a platform for local artists. They get to perform for over 4 000 people, which helps boost their
fan base.
Mr Delani Mofokeng from Nabalabantfu Entertainment said, “We have been working with local artists for the past three years and they have grown the Nabalabantfu brand. Today they are booked all over Mpumalanga, which makes us proud. If you also look at our line-up, we are the only events company that has booked 98 per cent of Mpumalanga artists because we believe in investing in local talent and service providers. KO (Cashtime – Piet Retief) and Big Nuz (Afrotainment) were chosen by our event supporters as the cherry on top this year.
“We urge people in Mpumalanga, Swaziland and Mozambique to buy tickets. Thanks to all the local service providers for the sound, stage, security, hostesses, and marquees, that will contribute to the success of the picnic. We are doing this to uplift one another and to improve local economic development in Nkomazi. We are also calling on the Nkomazi municipality to support us,” concluded Mofokeng.
Tickets are R100 and at Computicket, Shoprite, U-Save, Checkers, and House & Home stores nationwide. Cooler boxes are allowed at a R100 fee. Strictly cans.
