Metro FM Awards cause a stir
Rapper Riky Rick instigated a frenzy when he walked to the podium to collect his award, saying that they were many artists who did not deserve awards.
The Metro FM Awards caused a social media stir following the artists who scooped accolades on Saturday.
The award ceremony trended the whole weekend. Social media users criticised record labels that they bribed for their artists to win. Gqom Queen Babes Wodumo, had a smashing hit in 2016, however, she left the ceremony with no award. Meanwhile, rapper Kwesta who also had a good year last year walked away with nothing.
