Transport arrangements for Ray Phiri funeral
Preparations are complete for the funeral service for Mpumalanga’s music icon, the legendary Ray Phiri who passed on last week.
The funeral service will take place on Saturday 22 July 2017 at Mbombela Stadium at 08H00.
Buses to ferry mourners to the funeral service have been arranged as follows:
1. 1x bus from Mshadza,Swalala,Mganduzweni – Mbombela Stadium
2. 1x bus from Msholozi – Mbombela Stadium
3. 1x bus from Mayfern (Croc Valley) – Mbombela Stadium
4. 1x bus from Thekwane North and South – Mbombela Stadium
5. 2x buses from Matsulu A and B – Mbombela Stadium
6. 1x bus from Ngodwana – Mbombela Stadium
7. 2x buses from Umjindi – Mbombela Stadium
8. 2x buses from KaNyamazane – Mbombela Stadium
9. 3x buses from Pienaar (Daantjie and Msogwaba) – Mbombela Stadium
10. 1x buses from KaBokweni – Mbombela Stadium
11. 2x buses from Park and Rides – Mbombela Stadium
There will also be buses from Nkomazi as well as Gert and Nkangala districts.
Please note that these buses are only provided for Saturday for the funeral service.
Pick-up points will be communicated through radio (SABC and all Community radio stations)
