Mpumalanga roads quiet

With violent protests ongoing in parts of the country, police have confirmed that Mpumalanga roads remain clear and quiet.

The provincial police spokesperson, Brig Leonard Hlathi, said Mpumalanga had not been affected by the protests today, and that the roads are clear.

The Nelspruit CPF chairperson, John Meintjes, also said there had been no news of protests in the Lowveld.

He said said there has been some protest action between Tekwane South and KaNyamazane, but this was due to electricity issues the community is having.
