The MEC for health, Sasekani Manzini, joined by Cllr Million Shongwe of Ehlanzeni District Municipality and Cllr Phindile Mbowane of the City of Mbombela, awarded deserving health workers during the MEC’s Excellence Awards.

The event was held on Tuesday December 13 at Church on the Hill outside Mbombela. These are the most prestigious awards to be given out by the department.

The aim is to honour dedication, excellence and commitment displayed in the provision of healthcare for Mpumalanga, to uphold the highest healthcare standards and to practise the Batho Pele Principles.
