MATSULU – Information as to how many passengers the bus and the taxi were carrying at the time of the accident was still sketchy.

But both Matsulu police station spokesman, Const Nkomozakhe Khumalo and Buscor spokesman, Mr Vuyani Ndlovu confirmed the accident.

“We are unsure how many passengers were in both vehicles as our officers are still on the scene conducting investigations. All we can confirm is that the taxi operator died on the scene,” said Khumalo.

Ndlovu said their team was also on their way to the scene to investigate the cause of the incident and also to determine how many passengers that were on board when the incident happened.
