Deacon murders: R250k reward for wanted suspect

The Police are offering a reward of up to R250 000 for any valuable information that can lead to the arrest and subsequent conviction of Owen Setsiba/Makutara/Mbedzi.

He was allegedly involved in the murders of Lizette Deacon and her mother, Hettie on Thursday evening, 10 September 2020, Review Online reports.

The deceased were attacked in their townhouse in Welgelegen, their bodies were found in the back of Lizette’s vehicle after police gave chase and the driver of the vehicle abandoned it next to the R37 road.

The police have already arrested four suspects, including the Deacon’s domestic worker, Sophie Mmako.
