Watch: Two shot and killed in Ermelo robbery
A third suspect was wounded during the gunfight where about 40 shots were fired.
An armed robbery and a shoot-out between security officers and robbers, leaving two dead, took place at the Boxer Centre in Ermelo this morning.
Highvelder was on the scene and spoke to Oubaas de Jager, owner of security company ACSU.
According to him, the alleged culprits fired-off about 40 rounds at reaction officers of ACSU.
He says the reaction officers returned fire, killing two suspects and wounding a third. Some of the alleged robbers managed to get away. It is not clear how many suspects were involved.
Police comment could not be obtained at the time of publishing.
