Limpopo police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba says the team acted on a tip-off regarding the vehicle, which was believed to be destined for smuggling out of the country.

“Preliminary police investigations revealed that the vehicle had been reported stolen in Alberton, Gauteng, on Wednesday, September 18. The suspect will face charges of possession of a presumed stolen motor vehicle, contravention of the Immigration Act 13 of 2002, and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s licence,” adds Ledwaba.
