Praga embarks on production of its first road-legal hypercar
This €1.36m hypercar, with production spanning over the next four years, is set to be a collector’s dream.
Among the world’s oldest car brands hailing from the Czech Republic, Praga has officially commenced production of its inaugural road-legal hypercar – the Praga Bohema. This exclusive, all-carbon two-seater, boasting 52kW and weighing below 1 000kg, is anticipated to be a rare gem in hypercar collections.
Praga Cars’ owner, Tomas Kasparek, stated: “This is an important milestone for Praga in our long 117-year history. We monitor every build process stage closely to exceed our customers’ expectations.”
The first Bohema clients recently witnessed the meticulous hand-building process at Praga’s dedicated assembly facility, emphasising top-tier materials and craftsmanship. The public reveal is slated for spring 2024.
The initial customer handover in Europe, scheduled for the first half of 2024, promises a unique specification to mark the occasion. Further deliveries are planned in the UAE and the USA in 2024, with Bohema production extending into 2025.

Pre-production testing, including on-road development and track trials at renowned circuits, involved collaboration with elite drivers like Romain Grosjean, Ben Collins and Josef Kral. Limited test-drive opportunities in Europe and the UK will commence in the spring, followed by launches in North America and the Middle East in 2024.
Mark Harrison, sales and marketing director at Praga Cars, expressed pride in this significant step and excitement for the first customer handovers, highlighting the buzz around Praga’s entry into the hypercar market.
