Foton South Africa has expanded its bakkie portfolio with the introduction of the Tunland V-Series models, which include the Tunland V7 you see here.
The Tunland V7 employs a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbodiesel engine incorporating 48 V mild-hybrid tech. The powertrain produces 120kW and 450Nm of torque. Power is transferred to the road via a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2WD and 4WD include three and seven driving modes, respectively. The Tunland V7 has a braked towing capacity of 3 500kg. The ground clearance is rated at 240mm.

The Foton Tunland V7 is priced from R689 900 for the 2WD variant, while the 4WD V7 will set you back R765 900. Included in the price are a five-year/75 000km service plan and a five-year/200 000km warranty.

Standard equipment includes a 14.6-inch infotainment touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, multifunction steering wheel, electrically adjustable seats, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, wireless smartphone charging and a 360-degree surround-view camera.
