Back in fashion: the 90s
Butterfly clips, leather jackets and mom jeans; without a doubt the 90s saw some stylish and cringe-worthy fashion trends.

Just when you thought these trends had disappeared into oblivion, they are making a comeback.
Let’s take a look at which 90s trends you can expect to see in 2018.
- Dungarees
Probably one of the most fashionable items to wear in the 90s – easy to wear with just a T-shirt, while some were bold enough to bare it all by wearing just the dungarees.
- Denim, denim and more denim
Denim coats, jackets, dresses, skirts and even shoes, it is doubtful that any other era saw more denim than the 90s.
- Flannel
A 90s teenager’s outfit was not complete without the addition of a flannel shirt.
- Doc Martins
If you owned a pair of these, you were the definition of cool.
- Chockers
With a wide variety available, chockers were the go-to accessory in the 90s.
- Backpacks
In the 90s backpacks replaced traditional handbags for many.
- Metallic make-up
When hitting the dance floor, wearing metallic make-up was a must.
- Jelly shoes
No shoe collection was complete without a pair of multi-coloured jellies.
- Platforms
For instant height many teens bought platform shoes in the 90s.
- Scrunchies
Not many girls left home in the 90s without tying up their hair with a scrunchie.
