4 arrested in KZN kidnapping case, human remains found

Human remains found by law enforcement officers will undergo DNA testing to confirm if they are those of two men who were kidnapped last month.

Police in KZN have arrested four people in connection with a kidnapping case after two men went missing in KwaDukuza in KZN on April 27.

KZN police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda says the suspects, who were the last people seen with the missing men, were arrested yesterday.

Netshiunda says the human remains were found in a secluded area in New Guelderland, and will undergo DNA testing to confirm if they are those of the missing men.

The suspects are expected to appear in the KwaDukuza Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
