Covid-19: Recovery rate stable at 90%

83 new deaths have brought the death rate to 17 863, bur the number of recoveries is maintaining at 90 percent, with a total of 624 659 to date.

With a total of 888 new cases in the past 24-hours, the total number of Covid-19 infections in South Africa is sitting at 693 359.

4 418 418 testes have been conducted since the start of the pandemic in South Africa, with 57 percent of those taking place in private facilities, and 43 percent in public facilities.

Gauteng currently has the highest number of infections, deaths and recoveries.
