Government set to revise employment equity targets

While the DA said it supported the creation of employment opportunities, the party – which rejected the department’s targets as ‘ANC quotas’ last year staged a protest against the amendments.

The Black Business Council meanwhile called on the government to up the targets, saying there was an urgent need for the transformation of the workplace.
