Limpopo premier’s wife Maggie Mathabatha dies
Limpopo government spokesperson Willy Mosoma said Maggie Mathabatha would be remembered fondly for the work she has done through the First Lady Trust.
Limpopo Provincial Government has confirmed that Maggie Mathabatha, the wife of Premier Chupu Mathabatha, has died after a short illness.
Spokesperson Willy Mosoma said she will be remembered by family, relatives, friends and the province’s people for her immense contribution towards the socio-economic development of the disadvantaged.
“She was the First Lady of Limpopo since 2013 and through the Limpopo First Lady Trust, managed to mobilise resources which resulted in the successful building of houses to disadvantaged families, distribution of food parcels and wheelchairs,” he remarked.
Details regarding funeral arrangements will be announced once these have been finalised.
