Man stabbed during house robbery

A man has been stabbed during a house robbery in Westville, KwaZulu-Natal, earlier yesterday.

Blue Security operations manager Brian Jackson said a gang of robbers had jumped on to the balcony and entered the house in Alistair Road at about 5.45am, Highway Mail reported.

It was alleged the robbers had held the victim at knife point and stabbed him in the back before fleeing with his car keys and cellphones, added Jackson.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital by KZN Emergency Medical Services paramedics for further medical attention.

No arrests have been made.

In a separate incident, two suspects appeared in the Ntuzuma Magistrates’ Court in connection with house robbery in KwaMashu, north of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
