Mpumalanga human settlements head arrested over multiple IDs

Immigration officials swooped to arrest department of human settlements head, Kebone Masange, in Pretoria on Tuesday. The arrest followed allegations that Masange had multiple identity documents in his possession, Lowvelder reports.
Masange hails from Bulawayo in Zimbabwe and had allegedly not been vetted before being employed five years ago. When the news of his arrest broke yesterday, the Mpumalanga premier’s spokesperson, Sibongile Mkani-Mpolweni was unable to verify if he had been vetted or not.
Prior to his employ at the Mpumalanga Provincial Government, Masange had a stint as municipal manager in the Newcastle Local Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal.
