No arrests yet after two murdered in Bryanston

Investigations are under way after a murder and possible house robbery incident took place in the early hours of this morning in Bryanston, Johannesburg.

Brigadier Lettie Hugo said: “We are still investigating what exactly happened, but we can confirm that two people were murdered in Bryanston and a robbery took place, but we are still investigating that,” Fourways Review reported.

Hugo added neighbours had reported a White Audi A3 had been taken from the property.

Two cases of murder had been opened and after a pending investigation, a robbery charge could possibly be added, said Hugo.

In a separate incident, a man was killed in a house robbery in Snake Park in Doornkop, Soweto, Gauteng in December last year.

It was alleged two people had stormed into a house and found two men eating. They kicked the door and shot one of the men at the back of his head. He died at the scene.

The suspects had continued searching the house and taken money and other items in the house, police said.

No arrests had been made and police were investigating a case of house robbery and murder.
