IEC accepts Moseneke’s recommendations to postpone elections

The Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) is seeking to postpone the local government elections.

This follows a report released earlier this week, containing the findings of the inquiry led by former deputy chief justice Dikgang Moseneke into the possibility of holding free and fair elections in October.

Zuma gets his wish – arms deal trial postponed to August

Covid-19 claims another victim – Randburg’s Ticketpro Dome

UIF opens applications for extended TERS payments

Minister of Employment and Labour Thulas Nxesi has approved the decision for the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) to implement a third extension of the Covid-19 TERS benefit. Read more here.

Stats SA urges citizens to register for pilot census
