Two killed in freak accident in Centurion
“The two men had been involved in the transportation of a trampoline on the back of the bakkie,” said CERT-SA spokesperson Ruan Heyns.

Two men died on Hendrik Verwoerd Drive in Centurion on Thursday afternoon after they fell from the back of a bakkie.
The accident happened near the Rooihuiskraal Drive intersection, said community medical service CERT-SA spokesperson Ruan Heyns.
Heyns said the initial alert had been for a motor vehicle collision, but when paramedics arrived they found only one vehicle had been involved.
“The two men had been involved in the transportation of a trampoline on the back of the bakkie,” said Heyns.
“It is believed the trampoline fell off, taking the two men with it.”
Both were assessed by paramedics and it was found that they had suffered fatal head injuries as a result of the fall.
“They were both declared dead on the scene,” said Heyns.
No further information was available at this stage.
Heyns said police attended the scene for further investigations.
