Woman ‘raped’ after watching porn

A woman was allegedly raped at her home in Boksburg, on the East Rand, after she and her alleged attacker spent time watching pornographic films.

The victim told the police her attacker had arrived at her house with his friend on Tuesday,Boksburg Advertiser reported.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Kwenzakwakhe Ngobese said the victim told police the men asked her to screen pornographic movies, and she agreed.

One of the men then allegedly followed the woman into a bathroom and asked her to undress him.

“I refused. He then forcefully undressed me and pushed me to the floor,” she said.

“When I was flat on the floor, he raped me. I cried while begging him to stop, but he continued.”

It was believed the attacker had been drunk at the time, and that his friend had not been involved in the rape.

Police are investigating the incident and no arrests have yet been made.

In September last year, a traditional leader appeared in the Thokoza Magistrates’ Court on charges of rape, sexual assault and illegal possession of pornography.

The 44-year-old man allegedly raped a 22-year-old woman during a healing ceremony, after which she laid a charge of rape at a police station.

One of the man’s trainees later told police she had also been sexually violated by him.

Police reportedly confiscated pornography material, which was allegedly used during the crime.
