Woman mauled by dogs

Three rottweilers bite woman more than 30 times.

A 26-year-old woman, Nosipho Thusini, was admitted to Stanger Hospital yesterday after being mauled by three rottweilers in Ballito.

The owner of the dogs, Robert England, was highly distraught and sympathetic towards Thusini and said he could not understand how the attack happened.

“These dogs are not vicious; they interact with our staff at home every day,” he said.

It is believed Thusini was walking down the street past England’s house when the dogs attacked and bit her between 30 and 40 times.

England took Thusini to Netcare Alberlito Hospital from where she was transported to Stanger Hospital.
