Watershed ready to rock the stage at Sugar Rush Park

Dubbed SA's top acoustic rock band, Watershed has performed alongside some of the biggest names in the music world.

Grab your dancing shoes and get ready for another toe-tapping, hip swaying, sing-along afternoon as one of SA’s iconic bands, Watershed, makes their debut in Ballito.

The event, hosted at the family-friendly Sugar Rush Park on Sunday April 7, marks the band’s long awaited return to KZN, and will be the second installment of the Marriott Ballito Beats Music series this year.

With hits such as ‘Indigo Girl’ and ‘Fine Way’ having defined the career of Watershed since they formed back in 1998, their show is set to be a brilliant throwback to some of SA’s best music over the past two decades.

Dubbed SA’s top acoustic rock band, Watershed has performed alongside some of the biggest names in the music world, such as U2, Peter Gabriel, Bob Geldof, The Corrs and The Cranberries.

Craig Hinds, lead singer and songwriter, has built a career on lyrics and melodies that have touched his fans and consistently grown a following with every album the band has produced.

The band have carved an acoustic rock sound that is undeniably Watershed in its uniqueness and crowd pleasing in its boldness.

This multi-talented 5-piece band switch from acoustic guitars to pianos and ukuleles seamlessly while their sound remains fresh, powerful and melodic.

Before taking to the stage for their debut Ballito show, proudly KZN Tanner Wareham, who is currently making waves in the local music scene will get the crowd revved up and on their feet.

Tickets are available on Webtickets for R150 per person, R80 for kids aged 6 – 12 years and R20 for kids under 6 years.

Early bird tickets are available for R130 per person (limited).

Sugar Rush Park offers a fully supervised kids zone, a new locomotive train ride, putt putt and more for the little ones, as well as a number of fully stocked bars, food stalls and much more.

Chairs and picnic blankets may be brought in, but NO drinks will be allowed into the venue.
