The IEB is an excellent foundation and aligns with DGC’s vision to provide a globally relevant, balanced education and to develop significant women, in all spheres of society.

Our aim at Durban Girls’ College is to contribute positively to education in South Africa through producing young women of substance who find their niche and who champion social responsibility, social justice, equality and environmental challenges; thereby enriching our community.

The educational experience that our girls receive equips them with necessary skills to be adaptable, and face the realities – and uncertainties – of a world that is changing, rapidly.

We believe that it is important to share both their academic achievements, as well as their musical and sporting talents. In so doing, we present a more accurate view of our girls’ commitment to their education and opportunities offered to them which develops their sense of purpose.

Our top four achievers deserve recognition for their well-earned results.
