This is a co-ed, English college with a Christian-based ethos and traditional values, catering for boys and girls from Grade 0000-Grade 12 in a family environment.

The Ashlings Early Learning Centre prides itself on being “child-centred”.
The school quite simply believes in the power of play and connection!
Daily activities focus on play-based, hands-on learning and this is scaffolded by specialist sessions in the library, puzzle club and music lessons.
The children’s gross motor systems are further developed with weekly ball skills sessions and seasonal swimming lessons with trained coaches.
The college is an amalgamation of subject specialists, state-of-the-art facilities and an experienced and passionate staff in the heart of Ballito.
The most recent additions to the school’s facilities include the Ashton Workshop and The Learn to Swim Sky Pool.
The Ashton Workshop is a beautiful environment for pupils to embrace practical skills with the application of scientific principles.
Subjects taught in the workshop focus on concepts and principles in the built environment and on the technological process.
All this with the aim of enhancing the quality of life of the individual and society alike and ensuring the sustainable use of the natural environment.
There are two formal classrooms, one IT room and a practical area equipped with work benches in the Workshop.
In the Ashlings Phase, 10 new classrooms, a Galaxy theatre, a Sky Pool and beautifully designed play structures and playgrounds were opened for the start of the 2023 academic year.
The Learn to Swim Sky Pool is a unique structure built on the third level of one of the new Ashlings Phase buildings.
The pool is no ordinary pool and includes a Badu® SwimJet system which is like a treadmill under water.
Swimming lessons are enhanced with a beautiful view as far as the eye can see.
